Job Description
The People Operations & Talent Acquisition Co-op at Kabam offers hands-on experience supporting key HR and recruitment initiatives. Responsibilities include contributing to a positive candidate experience, assisting with interview coordination, resume screening, employer branding initiatives (content creation for social media), posting job openings, participating in onboarding optimization, supporting new hire processes, handling employee inquiries, process improvements, and maintaining People Operations infrastructure. The role involves collaboration with the P&TA team and other People team members on ad-hoc projects. This co-op is ideal for students in their 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary Business program, preferably specializing in Human Resource Management.
Must have:
- 3rd or 4th year in Business program (HRM preferred)
- Strong organizational & multitasking skills
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Technical aptitude, quick learner
- Willingness to learn & inherent curiosity
- Research skills in HR best practices
Good to have:
- Passion for games/entertainment
- Fluency in French

Join our People & Talent Acquisition (P&TA) team as a People Operations & Talent Acquisition Co-op, where you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting key HR and recruitment initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment!
In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage in:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Contribute to an outstanding candidate experience, provide support to our TA team with various tasks such as coordinating interviews and meetings, resume screening, sourcing related, etc.
- Collaborate on employer branding initiatives: content creation and curation for corporate social media channels, website, and blog.
- Research and post job openings to relevant industry job boards.
- Participate in other TA initiatives such as our onboarding optimisation program.
- People Operations Support:
- Assist with the new hire pre-boarding and onboarding process.
- Support day-to-day operations of the People and Talent Acquisition (P&TA) team.
- Respond to general employee inquiries regarding HR matters.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of People Operations infrastructure such as employee hub maintenance, job descriptions and employee folders to only name a few.

What you bring to the team:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a post-secondary Business program, preferably specializing in Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Deadline-oriented with strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software and tools.
- Strong willingness and motivation to learn with an inherent curiosity.
- Skills in researching best practices and HR trends.
- Passionate about games and/or entertainment.
- Fluency in French is an asset.
