Job Summary

Job Description

This role will be involved in developing eye tracking systems using a variety of optical sensing and computer vision techniques. You will take part in designing and prototyping eye tracking systems, performing data analysis, establishing end to end hardware, image quality and algorithm performance correlation. Design and prototype new eye tracking system architectures, focus on exploring & developing novel optical components (such as refractive and diffractive optical components, VCSELs) and techniques (waveguide, HOE, metalens) to improve eye tracking system performance. Work with vendors to establish methods for key optics components mass production.
Must have:
  • Experienced in refractive optics design, modeling, manufacturing
  • Experienced in prototyping optical systems, design experiments and data analysis
  • Proficient in commercial optical/photonics design softwares
  • Familiar with various diffractive optics, light sources
  • Proficient in Matlab, Python or C++
Good to have:
  • MS or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Having image processing and/or machine learning algorithm development experience is a plus
  • Having relevant experience in the field of eye tracking system development is a plus
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in building partnerships and working with internal and external cross-functional teams

Qualifications

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $162000 - $408000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

We cover 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% premium coverage for dependents and offer a Health Savings Account(HSA) with a company match. In addition to Flexible Spending Account(FSA) Options like Health Care, Limited Purpose and Dependent Care.
