The NExT Summer Intern – Postproduction will assist the Production team in material tracking, project preparation, and delivery. They will support the Client Services team with events and provide coverage for reception and front office duties. The intern will shadow team members, gaining exposure to postproduction workflows and creative processes. Daily administrative tasks and special projects will also be handled. The internship includes a cohort-based curriculum with workshops and a guest speaker series focusing on career paths and professional development.

- Assisting the Production team across the areas of material tracking (incoming and outgoing), project/session preparation, and delivery.
- Supporting the Client Services team with client and industry events, including full-range set-up and breakdown.
- Providing staffing and coverage for vault desk, reception, and front office as needed.
- Supporting studio cleanliness by monitoring bays and common areas for tidiness and upkeep.
- Shadowing Production team members and gaining exposure to the postproduction workflow and creative processes in various departments.
- Assisting with daily administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
- Explore various career paths through interactive workshops and a guest speaker series.
- Engage in professional development to set career goals and build workplace skills.
WHAT YOU BRING:
As the ideal candidate, you will have demonstrable interests in postproduction finishing, color grading/correction, dailies, sound and/or technical support.
You will also have:
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with comfort interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
