Job Description

This role is a Murex Senior MxML Consultant position at a leading trading house. The project involves supporting and developing an application used by one of the world's largest traders. Responsibilities include MxML development, pre-trade activities, and DevOps tasks using tools like GIT, Jenkins, and Jira. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of Murex development experience, at least 3 years of MxML experience on version 3.1, strong SQL skills, and a good understanding of financial markets. The project is long-term and rapidly expanding, offering opportunities for significant personal and professional growth within a dynamic and highly skilled team.

Must have:

5+ years Murex Development experience
3+ years Murex MxML (3.1) experience
Good MxML workflow and formulae development
Advanced SQL skills
Good understanding of financial markets
Unix knowledge

Good to have:

DevOps experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA)
Java experience (MXML integration)
Commodity trading exposure
Pretrade experience
Technical solution design & ownership

Responsibilities

MXML Development

Basic pretrade

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc)

Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership

Experience with FXCash, FX Derivatives, Commodities

Skills

Must have

5+ years of Murex Development experience

Minimum 3 Years of Murex MxML experience on 3.1

Good MxML workflow and formulae development

Advanced SQL

Good general financial market understanding

Unix

Nice to have

DevOps on Murex experience (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc) highly regarded

Good Java experience, especially integrating Java code in MXML

Exposure to Commodity type trades

Pretrade experience

Technical solution design experience and start-to-end solution ownership
