This role involves performing high-fidelity Multi-Body Dynamic (MBD) simulations using software like MSC Adams to analyze the structural and mechanical behavior of turbomachinery components. Responsibilities include analyzing simulation results, validating against test data, simulating healthy and faulty operation, analyzing critical speeds and resonant frequencies, collaborating with data analysts, automating simulation tasks using Python, optimizing simulation workflows, and reporting technical findings. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in MBD simulation, in-depth knowledge of rotodynamics and vibration analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
