Ping Identity is looking for a talented DevOps Manager to join our PingOne Advanced Services team. We provide Ping dedicated cloud tenants using Ping IAM software in a secure, efficient, data-isolated, and compliant manner for large enterprises. As the DevOps Manager, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers in our Bangalore office, overseeing the delivery and maintenance of services to our customers with a focus on quality and efficiency. This team works alongside a global set of teams to support and enhance our cloud based offerings that are the backbone of many Fortune 100 companies.

Responsibilities

  • Clear vision and leadership to ensure your team's contributions align with company objectives.
  • Establish efficient deployment processes and maintain customer environments.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Monitor software performance and coordinate smooth software releases across departments.
  • Take ownership of high-priority customer escalations and ensure timely resolution.
  • Recruit and build a team of world-class engineers.


Required Skills & Experience

  • 5-10 years of cloud deployment or product leadership experience.
  • 2+ years in a DevOps management role.
  • Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Argo, and Kubernetes.
  • Running complex distributed systems and applications at scale.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical details effectively.
  • Self-motivated and committed to achieving project goals.


Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience acting as a scrum master, running scrum, creating and managing epics, stories, and other tasks in project tracking software (namely Jira), and service request management (like JSM).
  • Experience with development and operational tools, Source Control (Git), Declarative Configuration (Puppet, etc) and Infrastructure Management (Terraform).
  • Experience with Ping Identity or other IAM software stacks.
  • Passion for ensuring top-notch service availability and reliability.
