The Junior Account Manager at Spin Master Mexico will play a crucial role in the company's success within the Mexican market. Responsibilities include developing and executing annual business plans, negotiating with clients to secure optimal sales conditions, and ensuring effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies within departmental stores. The role demands strong presentation skills, data analysis capabilities (using tools like Salesforce and Excel), and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams. The successful candidate will proactively manage customer budgets, forecasts, and performance reviews, while contributing to a collaborative and solution-oriented team environment. Experience in the toy industry or retail is preferred.

What will you work on?


The Spin Master Mexico Account Manager Jr. will be a key contributor to Spin Master Mexico and the global Sales Team. Responsible for the negotiation with his/her clients, while ensuring the best sales conditions for the Company and the correct execution of the commercial strategies with all of Mexico´s departmental stores.

The Account Manager Jr will get the opportunity of working in a dynamic sales organization, securing excellent implementation of Sales/Marketing plans and in- store campaigns.

How will you create impact?

  • Developing annual business plans that deliver upon company goals and meet customer needs
  • Deliver product presentations, business proposals and add plans to customers on time
  • Understand the customer timelines and proactively provide customers with all the information and materials required to make decisions and manage business effectively
  • Work with support team to develop forecasts that best reflect market realities; update forecasts as required, monthly as a minimum
  • Timely and effective review of actual performance to ensure goals are achieved and adjust plans as necessary
  • Manage customer specific budgets and update salesforce
  • Analysis of sell through data and market intelligence to maximize business opportunities while minimizing risk
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers; and provide fast solutions to challenges
  • Work proactively and effectively with team members to deliver best possible customer service
  • Work in a team environment, providing feedback and coaching to your account management team
  • Quickly gain a thorough understanding of all account business objectives and marketing plans by gaining multi-level and cross functional contacts within the your account portfolio
  • Develop innovative sales and marketing led account plans that will maximize Spin Master's performance within each account
  • Co-ordinate trade marketing and marketing activity within your accounts to ensure delivery of planned volume, distribution and profit targets
  • Maximise account profitability through strategic business planning including delivery of volume, revenue and margin and creative promotional work and good use of data to provide category solutions
  • Work closely with accounts to gain joint agreement on objectives for sales growth whilst managing each account selections process
  • Negotiate at senior level to ensure Spin Master maximizes the advantage of long term supply agreements and optimizes all elements of the marketing mix
  • Accurate forecasting and working closely with the planning team to ensure stock is delivered to accounts as required
  • Flexibility regarding accounts managed
  • Actively work as part of a team to create a solution-oriented culture, leading by example


What are your skills and experience?

  • Experience in similar role in the Toy industry preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing a business portfolio with a national retailer, Toys retailer preferred
  • Retail Experience either at store level or retail planning experience and asset
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, both externally and internally
  • Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Salesforce an asset
  • Ability to create and maintain business presentations, Excel files, read POS reports
  • Able to travel
  • Full clean driving license
