The Head of Community and Marketing will work closely with the founding team to develop and cultivate the user, investor, and stakeholder community. Responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing strategies, leading long-term brand vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on industry trends. The ideal candidate will be passionate about web3/crypto/DeFi and have 3+ years of marketing experience, including leadership experience at a DeFi or crypto startup. The role involves a wide range of tasks, from managing social media to planning large events and launching a token. You will:
Work closely alongside the founding team and community
Develop the community, deeply understanding and cultivating our users, investors, and other stakeholders
Develop and implement marketing strategies to grow the company and the brand that align with the community’s goals and objectives
Lead long-term brand vision and strategy across all marketing channels, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging for all our stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with the rest of the marketing, product, and executive teams to align internal marketing and growth efforts
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and user insights in order to optimize marketing and community strategy
Requirements
Be excited about web3 / crypto / DeFi and community building. We really cannot overstate this - you’ll be joining a team of DeFi nerds.
Actively use DEXs (spot and perps), or be willing to go deep into learning about DeFi derivatives and associated products.
3+ years of experience in a marketing role, with prior marketing leadership experience at a DeFi or other crypto startups.
Able to roll up your sleeves. Nothing is too small or too big for you. This includes managing Discord, telegram, and Twitter, making memes, handling customer support, to planning 1000+ person events, launching a token and much more.
