The District Manager (DM) is the figurehead and coach for the Store Managers (SM´s) of the Trek Direct Owned Stores within their District.
They will lead by example, demonstrating an Owners Mindset in their approach to business, and train and develop their SM´s to ensure that we only have the Best Teams On The Field. These teams in turn will deliver their sales and profitability goals for the district, whilst delivering exceptional hospitality to their customers. The DM will achieve this by holding their SM´s and teams accountable to meeting their key objectives and adhering to company policies and procedures, to demonstrate a model of bicycle retail businesses that are truly the best in the world.
DM´s are a critical part of Trek´s retail strategy and are inspirational leaders with a mindset of continuous improvement and drive to make their employees wildly successful. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who has multi-unit experience with the ability to leverage individual stores to address and solve district wide opportunities. DM´s will build strong relationships with each store team through in-depth store visits with a focus on engaging and developing a bench for the next leaders within Trek. A District Manager’s goal is to empower each Store Manager to run a successful business that creates a Great Place to Work for their teams, customers, and community to “get more people on bikes every day.”
