Job Description

The Disney Programs Experience Intern will work in the Disney Programs Office at Flamingo Crossings Village, serving as the first point of contact for program participants. Responsibilities include handling high call volumes, in-person communication, computer data entry, addressing participant questions and concerns, acting as a Program Advisor, assisting in planning and implementing program activities, and liaising with key partners. The internship requires strong administrative skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time internship, approximately 40 hours/week, running from June 2025 to January 2026.

About the Role & Program:

Step into the enchanting world of Disney Programs - home to the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program, and Disney International Program! Meet the Disney Program Experience team - our magic-makers. Their mission is to ensure our participants have a magnificent and unforgettable program experience! Ready to embark on this adventure? Head to the Programs Office at Apprentice Hall at Flamingo Crossings Village - your "one-stop shop" for program success. The Cast Members in the Programs Office will be guiding our participants from arrival to program graduation.

The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025 - January 2026.

What You Will Do:

As a Program Experience Intern, you will be working in the Disney Programs Office and serve as a first point of contact for our Program participants. This role includes a high level of administrative responsibility such as computer entry, heavy phone volume and in person communication. Our intern will be working with a team of associates to answer participant questions and address concerns regarding all aspects of the program; serve as a Program Advisor; assist in planning and implementing program and learning activities; and serve as a liaison with key program partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license (operating a company vehicle is required for this role).
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable lifting 45 pounds, walking up and down multiple flights of stairs and standing for long periods of time.
  • Guest service skills, with the ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts independently.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Proven track record balancing multiple projects and priorities.
  • Familiarity with Disney Internships and Programs.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • Previous operations experience with The Walt Disney Company.
  • Proven mentoring/counseling skills.
  • Experience as Residence Life or as a Resident Assistant in a collegiate environment collaborating with a diverse student population.
  • Involvement working with a diverse student population.
  • Proficiency with programs including DORMS, SAP, Workday, SC Logic, RapID
  • Proficient in an additional language.
  • Has previously lived in Flamingo Crossing Village while on a Disney Program.

Education:

  • Junior or Senior year preferred

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: 

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. 
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants:  You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.  
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Be compliant with appearance guidelines
  • Be able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Fully available for the duration of the internship (approximately 40 hours each week)
  • Have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour.
