Job Description

This role involves enhancing and developing projects/change requests for a leading Asian bank's new technology center in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities include user requirements gathering, impact analysis, developing functionalities using Windows Scripting and SQL, designing Control-M jobs, unit testing, SIT and UAT support, bug fixing, and migration using Aldon tools. The successful candidate will work within the Technology and Operations function, contributing to innovative financial technology solutions. The role requires collaboration with various teams and proficiency in Oracle OFSAA, Hyperion, and OBIEE.

Must have:

9+ years experience in Financial domain
Oracle OFSAA 8.0.7/Hyperion/OBIEE expertise
PL/SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, Essbase scripting, OBIEE RPD development
AIX7.1, Windows 2008 experience
Independent work with minimal guidance
Good communication and teamwork skills

Project description

Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

Responsibilities

To enhance and develop projects/Change Requests related changes and to ensure deliverables are in good quality

To participate in user requirements gathering and able to provide impact analysis and efforts estimation

To develop functionalities to cater for business requirements using Windows Scripting, SQL

To design and build the Control-M jobs for batch processing

To carry out unit testing and SIT on the developed functions

To support UAT cycle, troubleshoot the issues and provide bug fixes

To raise remedy ticket for required changes in controlled environments

To migrate deliverables objects using Aldon migration tools to UAT/Production environment

To provide proper documentation for all the deliverables

Skills

Must have

9+ years of relevant experience in a techno-functional role in the Financial domain

Well versed in Oracle OFSAA 8.0.7 /Hyperion Financial Management

Hyperion Planning/ Hyperion Essbase/ OBIEE

Working on AIX7.1/Oracle 11g and 12c/Oracle Essbase and Windows 2008

Language: Experience in PL/SQL , Unix Shell Scripting, Essbase scripting, OBIEE RPD development

Environment: AIX7.1 , Windows 2008 for Hyperion Financial Management

Able to work independently with minimum guidance

Have good communication skills (to work with various Teams including users)

Able to organize and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
