Summary

Job Description

Intel Dalian Memory Technology and Manufacturing (DMTM) is high-volume manufacturing memory fab in Intel China working on leading edge 3D NAND product. Intel and SK Hynix have an agreement for SK Hynix to acquire Intel's NAND memory and storage business. and Intel will continue to manufacture NAND wafers at the Dalian memory manufacturing until the final closing expected to occur in March 2025. Intel DMTM will continue to build on the success of our NAND technology at a greater scale, play a larger role in supporting our customers.

As Cost Engineer, you will be responsible:

  • Managing POR cycles (commodity focus), Cost Model

  • Commodity spending goal setting and drive cost optimization towards goals,

  • Seek cost reduction opportunities

  • Develop project roadmap with process and equipment knowledge

  • Factory commodity spending forecast and control

  • The role will require deep interaction with Fab process areas, site finance team and will provide broad visibility with senior leadership

This position is associated with the sale of Intel's NAND memory and storage business to SK. This transaction will enhance the resources and potential of the business' storage, and you will be joining a world-class team that will transition to lead the SSD business at SK group. We will keep you informed updates and steps related to this transaction.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate should have a Master or MBA degree in science, Finance, Business, accounting or related field, or bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry filed.

  • Experience in data analysis and strong logical thinking skills.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, influence and multitask skills.

  • Preferred 2+ years of experience with Excel, including the use of pivot tables, advanced logic functions, and other complex formulas.

  • Experience in Wafer fabrication preferred.

  • Demonstrated technical leadership and a track record of problem solving with creativity and out-of-box thinking

  • Able to work in dynamic and ambiguity environment.

  • Strong learning capability and self-motivated, responsible, and teamwork.

  • Be able Proactively drive projects and strong problem-solving skill.

  • Good attention to detail and Excellent time-management Act with velocity and a strong sense of urgency
