Overview

Azure App Configuration is a generally available Azure service that allows users to centrally manage and share application settings and feature flags within the cloud (). Users can use App Configuration to store all the key-value settings in one place securely and consume stored settings from applications, build pipelines, release processes, microservices, serverless apps, and other Azure services.

 

We are hiring a Software Engineer II interested in working as a Full Stack Engineer. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of product or feature areas and deliver end-to-end customer experience. This role is in a dynamic and collaborative team in the Developer Division under the Cloud and AI (C+AI) business group.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of software development experience, proficient in using programming languages such as C#/.NET, Java, Go, or Node.js to build robust software solutions.
  • Experience of using cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, demonstrating the ability to develop and deploy applications in cloud environments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying cloud services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration Skills.
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills and ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex problems independently.
  • Exceptional coding and design skills.
  • Working knowledge of Web and cloud technologies preferred.Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Configuration is a fundamental aspect across programming languages, applications, services, systems, and environments. In this role, you will:

  • Develop a Highly Scalable Service: Design and build a highly scalable, reliable, and low-latency service that meets the diverse configuration and feature management needs of our customers across all scenarios.
  • Contribute to Architecture Processes: Play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of product and solution features by creating and refining architecture proposals, testing design hypotheses, and iterating on code plans under the mentorship of experienced technical leaders.
  • Solve Customer Pain Points: Identify and address customer pain points, delivering comprehensive end-to-end solutions that enhance user satisfaction and drive business value.
  • Collaborate Across Azure Services: Work closely with teams across Azure to deliver integrated, seamless experiences that empower our customers to achieve more with our services.
  • Commit to Code Quality and DevOps Excellence: Write clean, high-quality code and tests, while taking ownership of the entire DevOps lifecycle, ensuring smooth and reliable deployments.
