The CJKI Product Program Manager at Canva will drive impactful product innovations in China, Japan, Korea, and India. Responsibilities include conducting market research, collaborating with engineering and design teams on localization and user experience improvements (payments, subscriptions), managing projects, acting as a liaison between stakeholders, and reporting on progress. About the Role/Specialty
In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving impactful product innovations at Canva. You will conduct meticulous market research and provide strategic insights, ensuring our projects are grounded in solid justifications. Collaborating closely with our engineering and design teams, you will optimize user experiences, enhancing features such as localization content and dialogs to meet diverse user needs. Your commitment to efficiency will shine through in your systematic approach to planning and reporting, ensuring every project progresses smoothly and effectively. Acting as a liaison between stakeholders, you will bridge gaps and drive key projects forward, contributing significantly to Canva’s vision of empowering the world to design. Together, we transform ideas into reality, making a tangible impact on Canva’s success and the creative journeys of millions. 

 

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • You’ll build strong relationships with the CJKI product and engineering teams, learning our processes for product planning, deliveries, and collaboration to bring project initiatives to life. You’ll also act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the product team, facilitating regular meetings, addressing concerns, and driving consensus on key project decisions.
  • You’ll take the lead on several key initiatives, ensuring their timely and high-quality delivery. This includes conducting in-depth market research for key initiatives, focusing on local payments and subscriptions, and working closely with the product research team to identify actionable plans for improving user experiences based on the glow-up audit research results.
  • You’ll independently manage and execute product-experience projects, such as localization and dialog optimization, to enhance user satisfaction. Additionally, you’ll develop and implement a systematic approach to project planning and reporting, consolidating information from various teams and presenting comprehensive progress reports to stakeholders.
