As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst Lead, you'll be a key individual contributor at GoTo Financial's Consumer Payments business. Responsibilities include general analysis of new features/products, customer/merchant segmentation, deep dives into customer behavior for strategic insights, event performance analysis (cashback, promos, etc.), performance tracking visualizations, and ETL processes (Extraction, Transformation, Load). You will present data layer to role layer. You'll work closely with business and product teams, contributing to database design, data architecture, and data visualization. The goal is to provide data-driven insights to fuel GoPay's innovations and ensure seamless operations. A key focus is automating data processes to minimize manual tasks.
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 4+ years experience in BI/Data Science
- SQL proficiency
- ETL proficiency
- Excellent analytical & communication skills
Good to have:
- Metabase, Tableau, BigQuery, Python experience
- Database design and data architecture skills
- Data mining and analytics expertise
- Data security and privacy knowledge
- Data visualization skills

Job Details
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst for GoTo Financial’s Consumer Payments business, you will be working with the Business and product team on supporting analytics and data products (automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) to create business impact at scale! You would be helping GoTo Financial at a level of detail that enables the stakeholders to identify and address critical issues, and align deliverables according to the Team’s priorities and requirements.
What You Will Do
- General analysis of each new feature/product that has been released and is to be released
- Provide customer and merchant segmentation based on their personas
- Deep analytics on customer behaviour to give strategic insights for businesses to make decision
- Event performance analysis (cashback, promos, POI, etc)
- Provide visualizations to track GoPay performance
- Data ETL (Extraction, Transform, and Load) role layer presentation layer
What You Will Need
- Have at least a Bachelor's degree in computer science/information science, engineering, statistics, business, management, accounting, and other related fields
- Should have at least 4 years of experience in the analyst business intelligence or data science field
- Familiarity with all variants of SQL
- Proficient in ETL (extract, transform, load) is a plus
- Familiarity with Metabase, Tableau, Bigquery, and Python will be a major plus
- Excellent analytical skills topped with strong communication and presentation capabilities in order to share recommendations
- Strong contribution to database design and data architecture, data mining and analytics, data security and privacy, and data visualization
- Ability to work with team members on data science projects
Our BI team likes to see ourselves as what blood is to the brain - constantly supplying the brain with oxygen so it can function properly. Our super team of BI analysts supplies data and insights that fuel GoPay's innovations and evolutions. How does one achieve this, you may ask? Through our data products (automated dashboards, reports, alerts, and simulation tools) and continuous collaboration with the folks in the business and product teams. We are in charge of creating foundational customer segmentations, designing automation processes for campaign tracking, and providing regular reports to the leadership team. Anything data-related within growth, digital inclusion, or risk and fraud for GoPay is what our team is concerned about.We oversee all things to give stakeholders valuable insights in decision making and actively grow to be a word-class team who can be the consultant to the business with complete skill sets in technical and business aspects. It's our job to ensure that GoPay runs seamlessly. One of the biggest challenges we had to face is to make all our works to be fully-automated which can reduce the number of manual work of doing data requests. We eventually resolved it by creating several automation tools and enhancing our workflow and procedures with the help of good project management planning. Currently, we're busy at work on various projects, including one about helping the company to reach its north star metrics by using our data products
