Brazilian Portuguese Game Translators (Mexico City)

Keywords is an international technical services provider to the global games industry. The Brazilian Portuguese Game Linguist role is to translate from English into Brazilian Portuguese in game content. This role requires excellent language skills, creativity and a passion for Games.

This position is In-house working on a client specific project expected to last 12 months, with potential for longer commitment. The role requires working at our Keywords office for the full duration of the project. Our office is located at Calz. Gral. Mariano Escobedo 218 Mexico City 11320 Mexico. For candidates applying from Brazil or other countries, we will sponsor a work permit in Mexico and assist with every step of the relocation process to ensure a smooth transition.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Translate in game content from English to Brazilian Portuguese to a high quality standard
• Be responsible for all linguistic aspects of the translations you are assigned to ensure the best possible quality is achieved
• Collaborate with other linguists on the project

• Native level Brazilian Portuguese speaker
• Passion for games industry
• Educational qualification in linguistics
• Experience in translation, copywriting or linguistics
• Excellent verbal and written linguistic skills both in Brazilian Portuguese and English
• Must be self-motivated and able to operate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills
