Job Description

Luxoft's client, a global commodity trader, is undergoing a significant cloud transformation. The role of Azure Enterprise Architect involves designing the Azure landing zone, ensuring consistent tooling and approach. Responsibilities include working with enterprise technology teams for Azure integration, building scalable design patterns for client applications, establishing standardized integration patterns, and collaborating with application teams on migration roadmaps and target architectures. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience in designing complex IT systems and 5+ years as a cloud architect with Azure. Strong understanding of cloud concepts, excellent communication skills, and experience in Global Markets/Banking/Financial Services are crucial.

Project description

Luxoft's client, a global commodity trader, are embarking on a significant cloud transformation and modernization program, streamlining their architecture, remediating legacy infrastructure issues and providing a new scalable platform for business growth. As part of this transformation Luxoft require an Azure Enterprise Architect to work with the client on the Azure foundations, policies, guardrails and enterprise architecture that will underpin the transformation.

Responsibilities

Architect the Azure landing zone and connectivity, enforcing consistency of approach and tooling

Work with enterprise technology teams on how to integrate enterprise technology services with the Azure environment

Build out a set of scalable design patterns for the clients applications

Build out a standardised set of integration patterns

Work with application teams and architects to map out their migration roadmaps and target architectures

Skills

Must have

B.S/M.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses and/or equivalent training and experience

10+ years' experience in designing and/or building complex information technology systems

5+ years' experience working as a cloud architect with Azure cloud environments

Understanding of core Cloud concepts:

Account Strategy

Networking/VPC Design

DNS

Interconnectivity (VPN / ExpressRoute)

Security and Compliance

Identity and Access Management (IAM)

Shared Services

Logging and Monitoring

Tagging Strategies

Backup Strategies

Migration approaches

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

Experience in Global Markets, Banking and Financial Services domain

Accreditation and experience across all three main public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Ability to work effectively within a globally distributed team with stakeholders and development team members spread across multiple locations
