Job Description

The Associate Project Manager will support the Test Facilities Lead in setting up facility, logistic, and data environments for the EMEA Engineering organization. This entry-level role focuses on documentation, processes, and software applications for efficient engineering operations. Responsibilities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, creating data environment and process concepts, supporting cost-efficient capability build-up, aligning with software development teams, providing general support to the Vehicle Engineering team, and handling initial and continuous documentation (EHS/Equipment Docs/Processes). The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to build relationships. Proficiency in German and English and knowledge of Microsoft 365 are essential.

What to Expect

Reporting to the Test Facilities Lead, the Associate Project Manager – Vehicle Engineering supports in setting up facility-, logistic- and data environments for the EMEA Engineering organization. 

This entry-level role will have a focus on documentation, processes and software applications that are required for efficient engineering operations.

It is helpful to have an eye for detail and being able to understand the interdependences of complex systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Gathering of requirements from various stakeholders to create concepts of data environments and processes for them
  • Supporting in cost efficient build up/ build out of capabilities over time

  • Aligning with software development team in creating useful IT solutions

  • General support of the Vehicle Engineering team on various occasions and topics

  • Initial and continuous documentation (EHS/ Equipment Docs/ Processes/ etc)

What You’ll Bring
  • Education in IT, Information Management, Mechanical, Automotive or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail (Agile Management)

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and leadership

  • Ability to work in a challenging and fast paced, collaborative environment

  • Able to identify problems and work on business-driven needs

  • Builds (global) relationships through collaboration both within and outside of Engineering, strong communication skills. Fluent in German and English in speech and writing 

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint. Basic understanding of data structures
