Job Description

Apexon seeks an Analyst II to manage UNIX/Linux environments, perform data analysis using SQL, and troubleshoot issues. Responsibilities include managing performance batch runs, potentially working outside regular hours. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience with Java/J2EE technologies, UNIX shell scripting, and the ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients. A 'can-do' attitude, problem-solving skills, and ownership are essential. This role requires a BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Must have:

2+ years Java/J2EE experience
UNIX/Linux environment management
UNIX shell scripting
Data analysis (SQL)
Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills

Role Description:

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience on Java/J2EE technologies.
Experience managing UNIX/Linux environment.
Experience in UNIX shell, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
Strong analytical & trouble shooting skills required.
Hands-on experience in data analysis SQL.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency in an aggressive
May be required to work after office hours, weekends and on public holidays due to support Time Travel & Performance Batch runs.
BA/BS required in Computer Science or equivalent.

Demonstrate sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are not readily defined and/or conflict with available information, ability to reach sound decisions quickly.
