About The Role
The Marketing Partnerships team collaborates with external brands and agency/production partners as well as internal cross-functional teams to find unique ways to bring iconic brands closer to our biggest shows & movies through compelling campaigns, activations, sponsorships, and other innovative solutions. You will lead the team in APAC responsible for outreach with potential brand partners, to build relationships and gain a deep understanding of their goals, planning process, creative ambition, and core equities. At the earliest stages of development, you will work cross functionally with the content, marketing, and legal teams to identify titles that strategically align with the Netflix Brand Partnership approach. Your team will research and engage with a cross-section of brands to identify potential partners and find meaningful connections between titles, audiences, and partner’s marketing priorities. You will guide the team to negotiate and shape robust partnerships with admired brands in support of Netflix’s most prominent films and series.
This role will also establish our Integrated Marketing and Sponsorships function in APAC, a new discipline within our broader Global Marketing Partnerships and Ads Marketing ecosystem. This role will work closely with our colleagues across the world to develop solutions for a growing set of global advertising partners, eager to unlock the value of our IP and distinct advertising products that only a global streaming leader can offer.
In the near term, you will establish the framework for Netflix's integrated Marketing business in APAC, ensuring this region is well set up to adopt the global strategy, vision, voice, and operating model, for our suite of offerings. In the longer term, you will scale and evolve the practice to exceed the expectations of the market, unlocking the fullest potential of our proprietary offerings in APAC.

We are looking for a proven, motivated and innovative marketer, capable of leading the development, implementation, and execution of brand partnerships and marketing integrations that continue to grow our subscriber base and advance our mission to entertain the world.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establishing and leading a team of strong integrated marketers across the region who develop innovative IM solutions and practices across APAC.
Establishing the framework for Integrated Marketing in APAC, while being mindful of the global strategy, vision, voice, and operating model for our suite of offerings.
Guiding the team to develop the strategic vision for key brand partnerships and integrated marketing programs.
Ensuring close alignment with the APAC Content, Marketing & PR teams, working at script stage to identify the greatest opportunities for brand partnerships and integrations, where appropriate / required.
Developing a growth plan and vision, aligning with external and internal stakeholders, to deliver business impact.
Effective collaboration and driving direction & alignment with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to our Sales, Ads Marketing, PR, Content, Title Marketing, Consumer Products, and Partnerships
Extracting insights from partners and internal marketing teams to develop and steer the strategic vision for the partnership from beginning through to execution.
Providing clear, ambitious and articulate thinking to inform and guide major decisions or voice opinions that can be shared publicly within the broader organisation (and sometimes beyond).
REQUIREMENTS:
15-20+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing incredibly creative partnerships and brand campaigns.
Deep expertise in developing strategic advertising solutions & live sponsorship programs, with a compelling track record of building and leading across both linear and digital marketing functions.
Experience building synergistic partnerships on entertainment IP is essential.
A thorough understanding of the inner dynamics of how entertainment partnerships are developed and managed, inclusive of scripted programming.
Has experience within a film or TV studio environment, including experience working with content teams in early development work for film or series (or both).
Technical skills that enable you to effectively collaborate and deliver impact.
A track record of being an essential member in the development of recognized creative campaigns.
A passion for both deal-making and creative marketing.
A record of cultivating relationships and a deep level of respect with top brand marketers.
Dynamic presenter who can captivate and communicate effectively with senior executives, showrunners, filmmakers, and partner leadership.
Experience establishing foundational teams, someone who can architect and communicate principles, points-of-view, and workflows.
Has mastery of drafting and negotiating deal memos and contractual agreements.
Experience working alongside Ad Sales and Consumer Products functions.
