As a Live Marketing Specialist for Candy Crush Saga, you'll build and optimize engaging in-game experiences. You'll collaborate with various teams (marketing, product, operations) on seasonal events, partnerships, and MarTech innovations, primarily focusing on operational execution and leveraging tools like Braze for player engagement. Responsibilities include MarTech innovation, partnership operations, seasonal event planning, cross-functional support, process optimization, event monitoring and optimization, and reporting on key performance indicators. This role requires strong operational focus, collaboration skills, and a passion for F2P mobile gaming.

Your Role Within Our Kingdom

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Specialist to build and optimize engaging in-game experiences while supporting key initiatives, including seasonal events, partnerships, and MarTech innovations.

As part of the Live Marketing team within the broader Product Marketing organization, you’ll work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams across multiple projects and initiatives to deliver world-class player experiences. This role is primarily focused on the operational execution of key projects, with a particular emphasis on supporting day-to-day needs and leveraging MarTech solutions to enhance player engagement.

You will be part of a dynamic team that bridges the gap between marketing and game teams, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives that align with broader marketing and business objectives.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • MarTech Innovation: Collaborate with the Braze product owner to implement Braze (CRM tech) innovations and new capabilities that enable more features or CRM use cases.

  • Partnership Operations: Manage the technical and operational execution of partnerships, ensuring successful delivery and scalability for future initiatives.

  • Seasonal Event Planning: Coordinate with marketing and game teams to develop and execute exciting seasonal events.

  • Cross-Functional Support: Support the wider Product Marketing organization by providing operational and strategic assistance across multiple teams. Contribute to a variety of projects simultaneously, collaborating with live ops, marketing, and product teams to adapt to shifting business priorities and drive the successful execution of initiatives..

  • Process Optimization: Work to scale processes, improve efficiency, and reduce bottlenecks in workflows, including asset coordination and cross-team collaboration.

  • Event Monitoring and Optimization: Partner with analytics and design teams to monitor event performance, share insights, and drive iterative improvements.

  • Reporting and KPIs: Deliver regular updates on key metrics like monetization, engagement, and player reach, ensuring alignment with broader team objectives.

We are looking for a proactive, operationally focused individual who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Your role involves not only understanding the operational aspects of live events but also contributing to MarTech innovation.

Key qualifications include:

  • A passion for F2P mobile games, especially in the casual genre.

  • Knowledge of MarTech tools (e.g., Braze) and how they can be leveraged for live operations.

  • Proven ability to manage technical operations and optimize workflows.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience in the F2P gaming industry or a related field.

  • Proficiency in tools like Looker or similar reporting tools for data visualization.
