Job Description

As an Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist, you'll join the Trailer Production team and be responsible for creating, modifying, and enhancing the quality of art assets for game trailers. This involves collaborating with production teams to develop video content in various settings and styles, adhering to existing art styles and estimations. You'll work closely with the Art Producer and Project Lead to ensure optimal quality and contribute to production pipeline optimization. Responsibilities include creating captivating scenes, implementing feedback from lead artists, and participating in the overall artistic vision of game trailers.
Must have:
  • Portfolio demonstrating diverse styles and design approaches
  • Strong knowledge of UE4 and UE5 (shading, lighting, surfacing, cinematic tools, Sequencer, animation, environment creation, real-time VFX)
  • Understanding of photo-realistic and stylized approaches
  • Camera animation experience
  • Knowledge of composition, color theory, perspective, lighting, and tech graphic design principles
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Adobe AE and Premiere Pro
  • Experience with other 3D software (Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini)
  • Game industry or postproduction experience
  • Experience playing games and understanding game aesthetics

We are looking for a skilled Unreal Engine Cinematic Artist to join our Team. As a part of the Trailer Production team, you will play a key role in creating, modifying, and enhancing the quality of art assets that our studio develops.

Superpowers
you have are

  • Portfolio that demonstrates a range of styles, creativity and structured design approaches;
  • Strong knowledge of UE4 and UE5 (shading and lighting techniques, surfacing, cinematic tools, sequencer, basic animation, environment creation, real-time VFX);
  • Strong understanding of photo-realistic approach, as well as stylized approach;
  • Camera animation experience;
  • Knowledge of composition, color theory, perspective, lighting, and tech graphic design principles.

You’re a rockstar
if you have

  • Knowledge of Adobe AE and Premiere Pro;
  • Knowledge of other 3D software (Cinema 4D, Maya, Houdini);
  • Working experience in the game industry or postproduction;
  • Experience playing games and knowledge of the aesthetics of cool games.

As a part of Room 8

  • Create fantastic and eye-catchy  scenes for game trailers following the existing art style and within provided estimations; 
  • Collaborate closely with the production teams of our partners to create from scratch and support the creation of videos in various settings and styles;
  • Coordinate with the Art Producer and Project Lead to achieve the best quality and participate in production pipeline optimization;
  • Timely & fully implement the feedback from lead artists (internal and external).
