Summary

HP Indigo seeks a Test Technician to conduct and lead a wide range of tests and experiments on S4 and S5 presses. Responsibilities include software, mechanical, electrical, consumables, and ink testing; supporting new press construction and integration; troubleshooting and maintaining presses; providing technical support to global customers; collaborating with mechanical engineers; developing and executing automation scripts; and monitoring and documenting bug reports. The role requires a practical engineering diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering, along with at least three years of press lab technician experience. Experience in the print industry and training technical teams is a significant advantage. Morning and evening shifts are available.
Must have:
  • Conduct tests on S4/S5 presses
  • Troubleshooting & maintenance
  • Automation script development
  • 3+ years press lab experience
  • Engineering Diploma/Bachelor's degree
Good to have:

We are looking for a talented Lab Technician.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting & leading wide range of tests & experiments on S4,5 presses, by several Disciplines: Software – QA, mechanical , electrical , consumables, inks and special R&D development Tests support

  • Construction and integration of new presses.

  • Responsible on troubleshooting and ongoing maintenance of the presses.

  • Providing technical support to our future customers around the world.

  • Accompanying the mechanical engineers from the experimental stage to the application stage

  • Develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.

  • Monitor debugging process results , Identify , record, document thoroughly and track bugs.

Working hours and time frame

  • Morning Shifts or Evening shifts (Shifts mode support- 08:00-24:00)

  • Seldom: Friday and or night shifts

Job requirements:

  • Practical Eng. Diploma \ bachelor’s degree in: Mechanical, Electrical or Software

  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

  • At least 3 years of press lab technician experience- Significant advantage

  • Previous experience in the print industry – Significant advantage

  • Experience in training technical teams

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Costumers support abroad.
