Summary

Easygo is hiring a Technical Recruiter for their new Belgrade office. The role involves leading the full recruitment cycle for engineering roles, collaborating with team leads on recruitment strategies, building and maintaining a talent pipeline, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience, and raising awareness of Easygo's employer brand in the Serbian tech market. Additional responsibilities include supporting HR functions like onboarding, employee engagement, and policy implementation, as well as contributing to project management initiatives related to the Belgrade office expansion. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, a deep understanding of engineering roles (especially software development), familiarity with the Serbian tech market, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As we establish our new Regional Engineering Office in Belgrade, Serbia, we are seeking a Technical Recruiter to help us build a world-class team of software engineers. This role will be instrumental in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top engineering talent while supporting additional HR functions and project management initiatives.

You’ll collaborate with our Melbourne HQ and local team leads to define recruitment strategies, attract exceptional candidates, and champion our company culture as we continue to grow. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Lead the recruitment process for engineering roles in Belgrade, including sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers.
    • Collaborate with team leads to develop detailed job descriptions and establish a recruitment plan for each role.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of top talent using direct sourcing, talent mapping, employee referrals, social media, job boards, and networking.
    • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Local Employer Branding
    • Raise awareness of our company and employer brand in the Serbian tech market.
    • Partner with HQ to implement and localize talent acquisition strategies to attract top engineering talent.
  • HR Support
    • Assist with onboarding and integration of new hires to ensure a smooth transition into the team.
    • Support additional HR functions, such as employee engagement initiatives, policy implementation, and cultural alignment with HQ.
  • Project Management
    • Provide input and support for setting up and scaling operations in the Belgrade office.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure recruitment goals align with the overall office expansion strategy.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, preferably in-house or with a mix of internal and agency experience.
  • Deep understanding of sourcing and hiring for engineering roles, particularly in software development (front-end and back-end).
  • Familiarity with the Serbian tech market, including compensation trends, candidate expectations, and talent availability.
  • Established networks within the local engineering community.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with local and remote teams.
  • Previous experience in HR or supporting HR initiatives is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
