Job Description

Varonis is looking for a Technical Content Marketing Manager to create engaging content for various channels, including the blog, website, and social media. This role requires strong technical knowledge of cloud security, particularly AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling. You'll work closely with the Content Marketing team, Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Digital Marketing teams to build a consistent and compelling brand presence for Varonis's cloud security expertise. Responsibilities include producing high-quality content, collaborating with researchers, and exploring opportunities to engage in relevant communities.

Must have:

2+ years of technical content experience in data security and/or cloud security
Skilled at producing written content and storytelling
Deep understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
Familiarity with AP Style and other writing standards
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Good to have:

Creative and critical thinker, able to generate innovative ideas for optimization
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Description

Technical Content Marketing Manager, Cloud Security

Varonis is seeking a Technical Content Manager to own the production of our security content, from blogs and whitepapers to social media content and videos. As a member of the Content Marketing team, you’ll own the management, maintenance, and strategic development of our technical, educational content, with an emphasis on cloud security.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical security knowledge, content production, and exceptional writing skills. Experience and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP is required.

This is a fast-growing team with a lot of growth opportunities. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

· Own and produce technical content for Varonis’ blog, website, sales enablement, social media channels, and more, that effectively engages target audiences in the cybersecurity industry.

· Deeply understand the cloud security and IaaS market to create compelling content that positions Varonis as a thought leader in cloud security and resonates with key personas.

· Be a strategic member of the Content Marketing team to identify needs and areas of opportunity to highlight our technical expertise in various mediums including written content, videos, webinars, and more.

· Maintain a cross-functional partnership with the Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, and other teams to create a seamless user experience on Varonis’ cloud security expertise and messaging.

· Work closely with Varonis’ researchers to publish high-quality publications on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and breaking news.

· Explore opportunities to engage in cloud security communities where we can share educational content and problem-solving solutions with our target audiences.

· Explore opportunities to improve our technical content to maximize visibility and engagement, improve performance, and align with tactics from other channels and disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have:

· 2+ years of technical content experience in data security and/or cloud security.

· Skilled at producing written content and storytelling, with the ability to make complex topics relatable and easy to understand.

· Deep understanding of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.

· Familiarity with AP Style and other writing standards.
