Wargaming is seeking a Technical Artist with extended knowledge of programming languages and Game Engines to join Visual Department's Tech Art team. You will be faced with various tasks - from general art supporting routine to infrastructural changes for the whole project and graphics features in our in-house game engine.
Collaborate with both the art and programming teams to streamline and enhance graphics production workflows
Develop tools, scripts, and workflows in Blender to facilitate the creation and optimization of art assets
Provide technical support to artists and troubleshoot any issues they encounter
Integrate and test art assets in the game engine to ensure their visual quality and performance
Stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques to enhance our graphics pipeline
Proficiency in Blender is essential, proficiency in Maya is nice to have
Strong scripting skills in Python and working with API
Solid understanding of version control systems, specifically Git
Good understanding of 3D graphics principles and techniques
Proven experience in a similar role or demonstrated portfolio
Ability to work collaboratively with both artists and programmers
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Basic understanding of UX and decomposition
C++ experience (nice to have)
Familiarity with other 3D software tools and game engines.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
Experience working with proprietary engine
Onsite during probation period, and hybrid after it (3 days of work from the office).
