We are currently seeking a talented Sr. Manager of Consumer Communications to support an American e-commerce company specializing in a wide range of categories, including jewelry, bags, clothing, home décor, furniture, and art. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global communications team to drive e-commerce brand awareness through impactful consumer communication strategies.
This 12-month+ contract position offers the flexibility of fully remote work, with candidates required to be based in the New York City area. As the Sr. Manager of Consumer Communications, you will play a key role in shaping and executing the company’s communications strategies, elevating its presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead consumer communication strategies for the U.S. market, creating content across various categories and disciplines to drive brand awareness.
- Manage and collaborate with public relations agencies to ensure a cohesive communication strategy that aligns with the brand’s objectives.
- Spearhead influencer campaigns, working closely with the Influencer Team to secure and execute media opportunities that amplify the brand’s reach.
- Partner with the Corporate Communications Team to identify and leverage media opportunities that position the brand within the cultural conversation.
Key Requirements:
- 4-year college degree.
- 7+ years of experience in Consumer Communications, with a proven track record of managing public relations agencies.
- Strong media relations skills, with established connections to reporters and media outlets.
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms and/or retail brands.
