What You'll Do
The Motion Graphics Artist will be responsible for creating visually appealing and engaging motion graphics for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, animation techniques, and video production workflows. This is an exciting opportunity to join ZAGG at a rapid growth stage and have a major impact on the future of our brand.
You will:
- Own storytelling through motion graphics, video, and music/audio
- Craft compelling user testimonials and highlight our suite of software products
- Create a polished final product and convey a great love for your craft
- Create visually-engaging motion graphic video assets and visual effects to support marketing, sales and overall brand video initiatives
- Conceptualize, design, and transform scripts and treatments into fluid, highly effective motion graphic animations
- Work and communicate with producers in and out of the studio
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure a full understanding of the creative objectives, needs of assigned projects, and required deadlines
- Have the creative vision to edit raw video footage and add enhance with elements of motion graphics
- Deliver a polished final product devoid of inconsistencies or minor visual mistakes
- Manage tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects and changing priorities (long hours may occasionally be required, but rare)
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, animation, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics and video production
- Strong Demo Reel with clear examples of product visualization — animation, text animation, special effects, 3D modeling, and rigging
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Experience with Keyshot and Maya
- Strong understanding of design principles and animation techniques
- Able to work closely with multiple directors, producers, editors and other team members
- Critical eye for color, composition, lighting, art, and animation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to ensure the highest quality work
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
