Social Media Strategist

We’re looking to hire a Social Media Contractor for an innovative cryptocurrency firm focused on institutional investors. You’ll join the Institutional Product Marketing team to lead and execute social media initiatives aimed at expanding the company's reach among institutional investors. This is a  7 - 12 month contract opportunity. The role is located in California and is fully remote.

Social Media Strategist Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute social media strategy, including writing copy and creating visuals.
• Produce high-quality, engaging content tailored to platforms such as X (formerly Twitter) and LinkedIn.
• Manage and maintain a social media content calendar: draft posts, obtain approvals, schedule content, and monitor performance.
• Create content to encourage executives and employees to share across their personal social media accounts.
• Collaborate with marketing, communications, and other teams to align social media efforts with broader campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
• Measure and report on social media performance; offer recommendations for optimizing strategy.
• Stay informed on competitor insights, emerging social media trends, and experiment with new ways to enhance the brand’s presence.

Social Media Strategist Requirements:

• Proven experience developing social media strategies and creating content for corporate or institutional audiences.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, including X and LinkedIn.
• Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with an eye for engaging visuals.
• Experience in building and managing content calendars and scheduling posts.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and leadership teams.
• Analytical skills to track performance metrics and optimize social strategies.
• Knowledge of emerging trends in social media and the ability to adapt quickly.
• Previous experience working with or in financial services, fintech, or crypto is a plus.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
