We’re thrilled to announce that we’re hiring a Social Media Manager to join our dynamic global team at Xsolla! In this exciting role, you’ll create, manage, and unleash engaging social media content across platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, and more, all designed to connect with our amazing player and consumer community.

You’ll dive into interactions with community members to showcase Xsolla’s brands, partners, and products. If you’re passionate about gaming, technology, and marketing communications, and you have a flair for game tech, social media, and online forums, this is your dream opportunity! As part of our marketing team, you’ll collaborate closely with product teammates, listen attentively, and share your innovative ideas without hesitation. We’re looking for someone who is accountable, trustworthy, and self-motivated. This hybrid role is based in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, CA, and you’ll report to our Head of Consumer Marketing, also based in LA. Join us and help shape the future of gaming!

Responsibilities

    • Create engaging content across various formats.
    • Oversee day-to-day delivery of social content campaigns and ensure brand consistency.
    • Facilitate scaling brand and product awareness through various social media channels.
    • Work with the Marketing and Product teams to plan and execute the social media editorial content calendar on a monthly basis.
    • Produce multimedia content, including videos and live streams, to enhance user engagement.
    • Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience across all appropriate channels.
    • Monitor gaming trends and industry news to ensure content is relevant, fresh, and engaging.
    • Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
    • Create and execute upon the monthly editorial calendar which includes monthly KPIs and initiatives.
    • Maintain social media best practices and provide all marketing team members and stakeholders with updates on new channel features.
    • QA social media posts prior to setting up a social media management platform.
    • QA social media posts once live to verify external links, post fits in UI and community sentiment/feedback.

Requirements

    • 1-3 years of experience in content creation or digital marketing, preferably within the gaming sector.
    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or related field.
    • Experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social and Hootsuite.
    • Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva experience preferred.
    • The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of gaming culture, trends, and the digital landscape.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
    • General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, tagging and internet ranking for web content.
    • Strong passion for and knowledge of the gaming industry and player communities.
    • Video game industry experience is heavily preferred.

    • Ability to self-motivate and work individually, while also working within a highly collaborative team.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing multiple platform presences while maintaining a positive, professional image of the organization.
