In this role, you will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, operations, and IT teams to measure, monitor, and maintain a clean data pipeline for SMG. You will establish and maintain data integrity and accuracy in platforms and datasets that SMG depends on to go to market. You will help ensure that data is reliable, complete, consistent, and aligned with SMG data policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement monitoring and controls required to maintain data quality in targeted SMG capabilities.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and implement data cleansing strategies and techniques - such as deduplication, validation, and standardization to resolve data quality issues.

  • Perform comprehensive data profiling exercises to identify potential issues, such as duplicate records, missing values, or inconsistent data formats.

  • Evaluate data quality against business rules and data policies - and then develop data quality metrics to measure and track progression of data quality over time.

  • Establish data quality benchmarks and monitoring processes to identify, root cause, and resolve data issues.

  • Develop data quality reports and present findings to management.

  • Perform regular audits and data quality checks to ensure compliance with data governance policies, business rules, and compliance regulations.

  • Own, facilitate, and evolve processes to engage with global data stewards, process owners, and regional experts across SMG to answer questions, facilitate support requests, and resolve issues.

  • Provide training to teams and SMEs on the importance of data quality, best practices, and tools for managing it

  • Leverage an AI-first mentality to deploy AI tools and methods to improve quality, efficiency, and compliance

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of data governance and data management principles

  • Experience with data profiling, auditing, and validation techniques

  • Project Planning/Management

  • 3+ years of experience working with Intel Sales and Marketing capabilities, data, and processes

  • 5+ years working on project or operational team performing data analysis and/or data monitoring

  • Operating in an ambiguous environment, within a matrixed team, with a high rate of change

  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders

  • Resilience and a Growth Mindset. This is an opportunity to help Intel transcend its history of complex internal processes. As such, you will be challenged to help stakeholders adopt new ways of working.

  • Experience with (or willingness to learn) AI and machine learning tools and techniques, as well as tools such as Power BI, Excel, Salesforce, SQL, Collibra and other emerging capabilities

Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
