Job Description

AGS is a fun, exciting, and growing company focused on making amazing slot machine games.  
 
We are looking for a self-motivated person who enjoys the complexities and trade-offs of working in a multidiscipline creative environment.  If you love making games and making them with other amazing people, then we want to meet you. 
 
What you will be doing:
  • Exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
  • Creating tools to improve art and software pipelines.
  • Assembly and organization of many game assets. Primarily visual elements. 
  • Runtime animation inside of Unity.  May include 2D/3D character rigging and animation, particle animation, dynamic elements such as player facing messaging and UI. 
  • Sequencing of runtime choreography for game elements and transitions between scenes.
  • Generating in-engine/runtime special effects. 
  • Ability to receive constructive feedback and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company.
Skills/Requirements:
  • Portfolio required.
  • Ability to create shaders.
  • Knowledge of art optimization techniques. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/Media Art and Animation or equivalent work experience
  • Mid-level technical artist with 2-3 years of Experience
  • Create tools for the graphics team
  • Ability to accurately rig 2d/3d characters 
  • Photoshop / illustrator / After Effects proficiency
  • Maya or other 3D program experience. 
 
Also would be great if you could:
  • Have excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Can take and give constructive feedback.
  • Have previous gaming industry experience.
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company.
  • Be self-motivated and proactive to get stuff done.
     
Please note that this position requires your presence in our office in Macquarie Park, NSW Australia as the work cannot be done remotely.
