Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Titian Platform team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and launching software products. You will also contribute to the design and architecture of our systems. We are looking for engineers who are passionate about building scalable and reliable systems. You will work on the new applications of Generative AI in Cloud and power Google Cloud Platform to incorporate Gen AI into their existing products. You will also participate in design reviews, review code, contribute to documentation, and help build a team.

Must have:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience testing and launching software products
3 years of experience with software design and architecture
5 years of experience with software development in Go, Python or Java programming languages
Experience with data structures/algorithms
3 years of experience with distributed system design of infrastructure software

Good to have:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
Experience in a technical leadership role
Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms and concepts (GCP, etc.)

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
5 years of experience with software development in Go, Python or Java programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
3 years of experience with distributed system design of infrastructure software.
Experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience in a technical leadership role.
Familiarity with Cloud Computing platforms and concepts (GCP, etc.).

Responsibilities

Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Help build a team and cultivate innovation.
