ABOUT THE ROLE

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paid Social Media Manager to join our Digital Marketing team in Malta. Within this role you will be responsible for executing Paid Social marketing strategies across multiple brands and markets globally. You will play an instrumental role in driving new initiatives and projects to expand our activity across all verticals and grow our channel further in the marketing mix.
 

You will be reporting directly to the Paid Social Team Lead, while working closely with other managers in the team and stakeholders including Country Managers and Marketing Managers, as well as AdTech, Creative and Content teams. To drive successful campaigns, you will utilise all the latest solutions and tools from social media platforms including Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Snapchat and more.

 

To succeed in this role you will need to be a self-driven and self-motivated individual - ready to lead new exciting projects and implement new ideas, whilst working closely with the team and providing mentoring to other colleagues. The ideal candidate will be a positive and adaptable team player, with a problem-solving attitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills.


 

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

 

        Planning and managing a wide range of Paid Social campaigns (Meta, Snapchat, Twitter etc.) across all verticals, on multiple brands and markets globally.

        Developing strategies and implementing new solutions across our activity (awareness, acquisition, retention), aligned with the overall goals and KPIs.

        Analysing metrics from ads manager tools and last click numbers to track campaign’s performance and continuously optimise our accounts, while reporting on the results and achievements to the relevant stakeholders.

        Implementing advanced measurement techniques on the platforms, including brand lift and search lift studies.

        Finding opportunities to activate Test & Learn strategies, including A/B testing of new targeting options, new creative projects and the latest platform features.

        Supporting internal teams and agencies through management of social media account structures, tracking, guidelines and more.

        Building strong relationships with key partners and providers, as well as internal stakeholders inc. Paid Media Team and Country Teams.

        Providing mentorship and training sessions to other colleagues in the team.


 

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

 

        4+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, including at least 2+ years of experience managing Paid Social campaigns (client side or agency).

        Hands-on experience working with popular social media ads manager tools (Meta, Snapchat and more).

        Good knowledge of Paid Social marketing best practices - both from a technical perspective (Pixels, Conversions APIs, EQS), as well as in regards to creative guidelines and tools (JIRA, Bannerflow or similar).

        Strong analytical mindsets, confident in spotting opportunities for growth and with professional experience in using analytics tools (Tableau, Google Analytics or similar).

        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.

        Fluent English is essential for this role, both written and spoken.

 

NICE TO HAVE:

        Experience with Paid Social marketing in the iGaming industry (casino or betting).

        Practical knowledge of advanced measurement techniques (brand lift studies, search lift studies, incremental retention lift with target/control groups) will be considered a big plus.
