Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Ruby Backend Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of an existing platform for a US-based company. Responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing platform performance, troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams on requirements, delivering high-quality code, maintaining Confluence documentation, and managing Jira tasks. The ideal candidate will have robust experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and be comfortable using Jira and Confluence. Experience supporting and improving legacy systems is highly desirable.

Must have:

5+ years Ruby on Rails experience
Strong backend development knowledge
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

We are seeking a Senior Ruby Backend Developer to support the maintenance and enhancement of an existing platform for a US-based company. The ideal candidate will have robust experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and be comfortable using Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.

Responsibilities:

Maintain and optimize the performance of the existing platform.

Maintain comprehensive documentation using Confluence.
Manage tasks and project workflows in Jira.

Requirements:

5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails for senior candidates;
Strong knowledge of backend development principles and relational databases.
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote/distributed team environment.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Experience supporting and improving legacy systems is highly desirable.
