About the team
The Personalisation subgroup owns and maintains Canva’s personalisation platform, a comprehensive suite of data and AI/ML tools designed to deliver exceptional, cross-channel personalised experiences for our users at scale. We enable Canva to deeply understand each user’s journey and determine the optimal actions—be it features, content, or product bundles—that will resonate most with them. Our team enhances both in-product and marketing experiences by tailoring content to fit the user’s unique context. The capabilities we provide are crucial to Canva’s user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, playing a significant role in achieving our company vision and strategy.
The personalisation enablement team in the Personalisation subgroup is responsible for building and maintaining a catalogue of user propensity models and a suite of feature and content recommendation systems. These AI/ML solutions help drive tailored experiences in products and enable more personalised and targeted marketing campaigns. Additionally, we also leverage our AI/ML solutions for deriving strategic insights that inform new product features.
