Senior Counsel, Energy Products EMEA

Tesla is looking for a Senior Counsel, Energy Products, based in our Amsterdam, Netherlands, office to support the growth of our global energy business.  Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Energy Products, you will focus on our residential, commercial & industrial and utility-scale solar and energy storage and supercharging businesses in EMEA and our expansion into emerging markets.  

Our ideal candidate would have a big-firm background in (energy-focused) project finance or construction and be passionate about accelerating the world’s transition to sustainable energy.  This is a great opportunity for a proactive and entrepreneurial lawyer to work at a fast growing and dynamic company.

• Provide advice on a wide variety of strategic, regulatory and transactional matters for the Energy business in EMEA, including commercial and consumer matters
• Structure and negotiate equipment supply, EPC, O&M, commodity, software, real property, interconnection, performance guarantee, warranty and other material project agreements for solar, energy storage and supercharger projects of all sizes, support project development and mergers and acquisitions transactions and have a good familiarity with financing-related matters
• Review and help prepare responses to requests for proposals and other competitive tenders
• Support new market entry and new product launches for the Energy Products business around the world
