Job Description

As a Senior Backend Developer at Roof Stacks, you'll be a key contributor to our innovative projects across diverse tech sectors. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems using .NET Core, microservices architecture, and various database technologies. You'll be involved in migrating applications from Node.js to .NET Core, managing synchronous/asynchronous workloads using queue systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and optimizing API security and performance for high-traffic applications. Experience with CI/CD processes is essential. You will play a crucial role in modernizing our platform using advanced software principles and best practices.

Must have:

Advanced .NET Core development experience
Microservices architecture expertise
Node.js to .NET Core migration experience
RabbitMQ/Kafka experience
Relational & NoSQL database management
API security & performance optimization
CI/CD familiarity

Good to have:

AWS Cloud experience
Kubernetes & container management
Docker experience
Application logging and tracing

Job Description and Requirements:

We are looking for an experienced software developer to join our team as a Senior .NET Core Developer

Qualifications (Must Have/Nice to Have):

Must Have:

· Advanced development experience with .NET Core.

· Extensive knowledge and practical experience in microservices architecture.

· Experience in migrating and modernizing applications from Node.js to .NET Core.

· Knowledge of queue technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka: Experience in managing synchronous/asynchronous workloads and working with queue systems.

· Experience with relational and NoSQL databases: Ability to manage data using both relational and NoSQL databases.

· Proficiency in API security and performance optimization in high-traffic applications.

· Familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Nice to Have:

· AWS Cloud experience: Basic familiarity with AWS services.

· Knowledge of Kubernetes and container management.

· Experience working with Docker.

· Experience using logging and tracing mechanisms for monitoring and debugging high-performance applications.

· The candidate is expected to play an active role in updating and optimizing the platform based on modern software principles, such as microservices architecture, API security, database management, and messaging infrastructures.
