Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you'll lead and coach a team of Account Executives, focusing on consultative sales to understand advertiser needs and deliver growth-oriented solutions. You will build and manage C-level client relationships, developing long-term strategies and collaborating cross-functionally within Google. Responsibilities include achieving growth goals through Google advertising product presentations, building client relationships, understanding business challenges, and leveraging Google's product offerings for client success. The role requires fluent English and Polish communication to support client management in the specified region. You'll also be responsible for team operations including portfolio management, team building, KPI tracking, and sales behavior coaching.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record in commercial teams (e.g., sales, marketing).
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or multichannel experience.
  • Understanding of multichannel and consumer good dynamics.
  • Ability to own Sales team operations in Poland: portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, and execution.
  • Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values. Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
