About the job

Ecolab is currently looking for an Equipment Product Manager. The work location is India.

The Equipment Product Manager will join our Nalco Water IMEA Product Line Management Team to define, own and manage our standard equipment portfolio to help our customers meet their sustainability and operational goals, drive value delivery to differentiate Ecolab from our competition, and impact the achievement of our ambitious growth targets.

What will you do?

  • Support the Nalco Water divisions with their standard equipment portfolio needs – you will support the Light, Heavy, Mining, Paper and Downstream (excluding process side) divisions
  • Define, own, promote and manage a standard equipment portfolio to enable sustainable and profitable growth of integrated solutions with chemistry, equipment, digital and services, aligned with divisional priorities and goals.
  • Define, own, and manage our analytical product line covering essential analytical reagents, calibration fluids and test kits/equipment required by our field service teams and customers to analyse water quality parameters & product dosage and calibrate Nalco equipment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish effective processes for sourcing, delivering and invoicing items from our analytical product line.
  • Collaborate with supply chain planning and procurement teams on optimizing (cost of) sourcing equipment whether from our intercompany partners or (regional) vendors.
  • Actively participate in divisional Nalco Water innovation projects that have an equipment component ensuring the required equipment is ready for deployment at time of launch
  • Closely collaborate with equipment product managers in the supplying regions Europe and USA to ensure IMEA requirements are supported.
  • Improve the portfolio competitiveness through cost savings/avoidances with focus on developing a regional supplier network.
  • Support the sales teams with marketing materials such as product literature, selection guides and with product training.
  • Support IMEA EBS (new ERP) project by defining active portfolio per entity, cleaning master data accordingly and work with EBS teams to ensure data compliance for EBS requirements.
  • Stay current on market standards, trends and practices and understand impact on the Ecolab product line and business.

What are we looking for in a candidate?

  • Mechanical, electrical, chemistry or related engineering education with a bachelor or master.
  • Application know-how in water treatment applications with 5+ years of experience
  • Business-to-business marketing experience.
  • Regulatory knowledge
  • Analytical mind and ability to work with large data sets in a structured way
  • Project Management skills.
  • Self-starter
