Eccentric's mission –

We are building a Showroom-like experience in a virtual world where a vehicle buyer

● Can take a 3D walkthrough of all models/variants/trims on sale

● Can customize the vehicle and see exactly how it looks like and how much it will cost

● Can take a ‘Virtual Consultation’ with a sales agent in the virtual world (some like to call it Metaverse)


The Role –

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager (Technical) to serve as the primary liaison between Eccentric Engine and our valued automotive clients. The ideal candidate will interact with Marketing, Digital Transformation, Tech/IT/Engineering and Dealership Teams within various automobile companies. You will be responsible for delivering projects, tracking their adoption and success, identifying new opportunities, scouting for valuable information, and assisting clients in building presentations and insights. Your role is crucial in ensuring client satisfaction and driving the growth of our solutions within their organizations.


Responsibilities:

1. Customer Relationship Management


Primary Point of Contact:

Serve as the main liaison for key automotive accounts, maintaining regular communication and sharing updates on case studies and wins across customers

Build and Maintain Relationships:

Develop strong, long-term relationships with the customer's Marketing, Digital Transformation, IT/Tech/Engineeing and Dealership Teams.

Understand Client Needs:

Deeply understand client objectives, challenges, and industry trends to provide tailored solutions.


2. Project Delivery and Management


Project Coordination:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to ensure they meet deliight our customers by exceeding expectations and adhering to timelines.

Documentation:

Develop and maintain detailed documentation of project implementations, business goals, customer expectations and other such conversations with customer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams (e.g., business, product, 3D, design, data & engineering) as well as customer teams to align roadmaps, timelines, resources & deliverables.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all deliverables are tested and meet the highest quality standards established by Eccentric, while aligning with customer requirements & objectives.

3. Adoption and Success Tracking:

Monitor Performance:

Stay on top of numbers with frequent conversations with the data team to track adoption rates and success metrics of implemented projects within client organizations.

Reporting and Analysis:

Conduct regular analysis and present the gathered insights on projects and initiatives from a business performance, user engagement, and ROI perspective to customers and internal stakeholders.

Feedback Loop:

‘Schedule and communicate progress on roadmap/planned initiatives & gather continuous customer feedback which can be relayed to internal teams to be more customer centric.


4. Business Development and Opportunity Identification:


Identify Opportunities:

‘Scout for new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling our solutions or building new solutions.

Market Intelligence:

Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends to identify potential areas of growth.

Strategic Planning:

Develop account plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our footprint within client organizations.


5. Presentation and Insight Development:

Workshops & Presentations:

Organize workshops and build presentations with the help of the internal and customer teams to continuously engage with them on topics of business interest.

Help clients build compelling presentations and proposals that leverage our solutions and insights.

Data Analysis:

Analyse data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for clients.

Thought Leadership:

Provide industry expertise and thought leadership to position Eccentric Engine as a consultant/advisor.


6. Information Scouting:


Research:

Organize/Conduct research to gather valuable information on client needs, market conditions, and technological advancements.

Information Sharing:

Disseminate relevant information internally to inform product development and strategic initiatives.


Qualifications and Experience:

Education:

Any Formal Education in the field of Business Administration, Technology Management, Project Management, Product Management, Operations, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in consulting, account management, client services, or sales roles within the automotive or technology sectors.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of the automotive/software industry, particularly in areas of marketing, digital project management, digital transformation, and dealership operations.

Project Management:

Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and deliver on time.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the storytelling ability to present confidently to senior executives.

Analytical Skills:

Proficient in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.

Relationship Building:

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with Digital Systems (such as CMS, CRM, etc.), Project management tools (Confluence, JIRA), Data Representation/Visualization & Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint & Excel.

Strategic Thinking:

Ability to think strategically about account development and growth opportunities.

Presentation Skills:

Skilled in creating impactful presentations and delivering them effectively.

Adaptability:

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Teamwork:

Demonstrate Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally.
