Job Description

The Murex Back Office Principal Consultant will be responsible for expanding the bank's Back Office Murex team to work on a new product onboarding program using the Murex Treasury platform. Responsibilities include writing transformation logic for source data to Murex MXML format, creating import/export workflows using MXML Exchange, documenting functional and technical specifications and test cases, producing exception reports, configuring Murex reports, building custom tasks in MXML Exchange, and conducting unit testing. The role requires 8+ years of Murex MX3, MXML, BO Processing, confirmations, settlements experience, along with Unix/Linux scripting and SQL skills. Agile methodology experience (Jira, Confluence) and support through SIT/UAT phases are also essential. Post-deployment fixes and handover to BAU are expected, along with detailed documentation following client guidelines.

Must have:

8+ years Murex MX3, MXML, BO Processing experience
Unix/Linux scripting, SQL
Technical specification creation
Unit testing & build quality responsibility
Agile methodology (Jira, Confluence)
SIT/UAT support
Documentation & adherence to client guidelines

Good to have:

Understanding of Trade Life Cycle

Bank is looking to expand Back office Murex team to work on new product onboarding program running on Murex Treasury platform

Responsibilities

Write transformation logic for source data format to Murex understandable format (MxML)

Create MxML import and export workflows using MXML Exchange

Document Functional, Technical Specification and Test Cases for integration

Produce exception reports for failures

Configure and Build Murex Reports for reports based interfaces

Build custom tasks in MxML Exchange for specific processing not available through standard task library

Skills

Must have

8+ years of experience in Murex MX3 MxML, BO Processing, confirmations, settlements

Unix/Linux scripting, SQL

Able to work independently

Prepare Technical specification for the given requirements.

Deliver the allocated build items for signed off technical specification highlighted in item2.

Conduct Unit Testing by taking full responsibility of the build quality.

Experience in agile methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence

Support Testing phases from SIT/UAT.

Post deployment fixes and handover to BAU.

To provide proper documentation for the overall build as per the client internal guidelines.

To follow delivery processes as mandated by client internal guidelines.
