This role is for a Lead Performance Engineer in Zurich, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing performance test plans, executing load, stress, and scalability tests across multiple applications and platforms, analyzing results, and providing actionable recommendations. Collaboration with product and development teams to understand non-functional requirements (NFRs) and resolve performance bottlenecks is crucial. The role involves supporting complex market migrations and ensuring data quality throughout the process. Experience with securities transfer and settlement processes is a plus. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in an agile environment.
Must have:

Project description

We are seeking an engaged and detail-oriented Test Engineer to support the execution of complex market migrations. In this role, you will perform test plans based on existing software solutions, ensuring data quality throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Designing and implementing performance test plans

Organizing and executing load, stress, and scalability tests over multiple applications & platforms

Analyzing test results and providing actionable recommendations

Collaborating with Product

& Development-teams to understand NFRs and address performance issues

Skills

Must have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience in performance testing and tuning

Proficiency in performance testing tools and methods

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowhow on securities transfer & settlement processes a plus

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to have

Good understanding of Agile-based execution processes.

Proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements.

Good communication skills.

Prior financial/banking experience is highly desirable.
