Responsibilities:
• Define, develop and implement quality assurance best practices and procedures: test plans, test cases;
• Constantly identifies based on department standards and performs accurate regressions of existing bugs;
• Conduct root cause analysis on the identified defects, providing sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect;
• Perform End-to-End testing;
• Black Box Testing, Grey Box Testing;
• Exploratory, Smoke, Regression Testing;
• Perform tests on both Front End and Back End;
• Shares constructive opinions with team members and everyone involved in the project/product.
• Participate and actively contribute during team meetings (demos, retrospectives, planning);
• Support developers in the identification and reproduction of bugs, work closely to deliver quality software.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar position (MQA);
• Knowledge in working with issue trackers like JIRA;
• Experience in working with test management tools like TestRail;
• Accuracy in reporting issues, all steps to reproduce and observed behavior;
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and procedures;
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes;
• Experience with testing on various platforms (Mobile, Desktop etc.);
• Understanding and proven aptitude in defect identification, research, review, documentation, communication and assessment.
• Understanding and proven aptitude in test case management within a designated timeframe.
• Demonstrated prioritization skills.
• Ability to communicate in English;
• Ability to identify gaps in the testing process and provide solutions to mitigate any risks;
• Autonomous and resourceful.
