Job Description

As a Mechanic (Union) at Scientific Games, you'll be responsible for responding to service calls, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment, and proposing/executing modifications to meet production needs. Duties include diagnosing and fixing equipment, preventative maintenance (replacing, adjusting, and calibrating parts), ensuring repairs meet CNESST standards, preparing and tracking parts requisitions, fabricating parts using welding and machine tools, and documenting all interventions in the CMMS system. You will also perform format changes on equipment (set up). The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to schedules, and clear communication.

Position Summary

Votre rôle

Relevant du Chef de service des services techniques, le mécanicien répond aux appels de service, effectue l'entretien préventif et les correctifs des équipements, propose et exécute des modifications sur les équipements afin de l'adapter aux besoins de la production.  

Vos responsabilités

  • Répondre aux appels de service : diagnostiquer le problème et remettre les machines en état de marche le plus rapidement possible ;
  • Effectue l'entretien préventif de l'équipement: remplace les pièces défectueuses, les ajuste et les calibres si nécessaires;
  • Effectue le suivi afin de s’assurer que la réparation ou modification rencontre les standards et les norme CNESST et à la satisfaction des clients interne;
  • Prépare les réquisitions de pièces, fait la recherche auprès des fournisseurs, assure le suivi des commandes et les classe dans le magasin;
  • Fabrique certaines pièces en utilisant différents types de soudure et les machines-outils disponibles à l’atelier;
  • Propose et exécute des modifications sur l'équipement afin de l'adapter aux besoins de la production;
  • Répare les différentes composantes défectueuses sur des unités en suivant les instructions des manufacturiers ainsi que des normes qui les régisse et/ou selon les plans fournis;
  • Consigne de façon claire et complète toutes les interventions effectuées dans le système de GMAO;
  • Effectue des changements de format sur les équipements (set up).
  • Toutes autres tâches et responsabilités connexes liées à la mécanique.

Qualifications

Votre profil

  • Diplôme d'Études collégiales en génie mécanique, maintenance industrielle, fabrication mécanique ou autre discipline appropriée
  • Trois (3) à cinq (5) années d'expérience en milieu manufacturier (Mécanique de minutie)
  • Horaire de nuit 12h/jour – 3 jours/semaine
  • Disponible pour du temps supplémentaire en semaine et fin de semaine
  • Disponibilité requise (1) une fin de semaine sur (6) six sur appel
  • Sens des priorités, esprit d’analyse, autonomie, joueur d’équipe et bilinguisme fonctionnel
  • Connaissance d’un logiciel CAO (conception assistée par ordinateur), un atout
  • Connaissance environnement Windows et de la Suite Office;
  • Capacité à produire et suivre des échéanciers;
  • Bonne approche de résolution de problèmes;
  • Sens des priorités, esprit d’analyse, autonomie.
