Manual QA Engineer (temporary position)

We’re now looking for a motivated QA talent to join our amazing NetEnt team in Stockholm for a temporary position! As part of Evolution, a leader in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries, you’ll have the chance to help us break new ground and shape the future of gaming. 

Managing and ensuring the quality of a large portfolio of games is a core responsibility of our team. The role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills to keep track of various game features, updates, and potential issues. Given the temporary nature of the role, it’s well-suited to someone who can quickly get up to speed with existing processes and workflows. With Evolution’s presence in the gaming industry, the position is ideal for you, with experience or interest in casino games. 

Responsibilities:  

• Be a proactive member of our development team, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, and other QA team members. 
• Working alongside distributed teams to enhance collaboration and ensure seamless product delivery; 
• Performing manual testing to validate features and requirements;  
• Planning and executing test cases, writing test plans, and documenting bugs in detail; 
• Participating in release process activities; 
• Assessing product usability and reliability, providing valuable feedback and recommendations for improvements; 
• Be prepared to learn, build your skills and knowledge, and share them with the team. 

Qualifications 

• 3+ years of professional experience in software and functional testing;  

• Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance; 

• Experience in both web and mobile testing; 

• Experience with Postman and version control systems (e.g., Git); 

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins; 

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken; 

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, attention to details;  

• Willingness to ask for help from colleagues and to help others.  

• Nice-to-have:  

• Experience with Kibana; 

• Previous experience in casino games or related gaming environments; 

• Knowledge of TypeScript basics, CSS, XPath.
