As a Vehicle Technical Artist at CIG, you'll be part of a team creating high-fidelity vehicle assets for Star Citizen and Squadron 42.  Responsibilities include hands-on implementation, performance optimization, rigging, skinning, asset markup, and supporting the vehicle content team. You will work closely with art and programming teams, develop and improve pipelines using tools like 3DS Max, MaxScript, and Python, and investigate new techniques. The role involves bringing ships to life through animation and physics tuning, and ensuring assets are technically sound for use in the games.  CIG has a reputation for creating complex, characterful vehicles that are more like mini-game levels, and you'll be contributing to their already impressive library of nearly one hundred ships.

Qualifications <ul><li> College diploma or university degree in software engineering, computer science, or business administration or equivalent work experience </li><li> 1+ years of proven software testing experience </li><li> Experience within the Agile Methodology </li><li> Deep understanding of the software development and QA life cycle processes (including test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking and reporting) </li><li> Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment </li><li> Prior experience driving issue resolutions with development </li><li> Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system. </li><li> Excellent written and verbal communication skills interact across all levels from junior members to senior management </li></ul>
