Responsibilities
IGT Treasury is seeking a self-motivated individual to join our fast-paced global team. As Risk Manager, you will play an important role and will have an opportunity for future career growth. This position will be based in Las Vegas, NV and have a global reach, collaborating with a host of diverse constituencies around the globe. This position provides guidance and recommendations and executes a variety of risk management related activities including insurance programs, surety programs/operations, claims management, brokerage management, coordinating and maintaining extensive internal and external relationships, and other duties as assigned.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage an annual insurance program
- Prepare, analyze, and manage insurance claims
- Manage monthly forecasting process & communications with Treasury and Accounting leadership
- Provide oversight of P&C claims administration that is being provided by insurers and TPA’s
- Manage a large multi-national surety program
- Manage external partnerships including brokers, insurers, consultants, surety companies, etc.
- Provide support for internal expense reviews and monthly financial close
- Manage all insurance renewal cycles
- Monitor and respond to inquiries from sites and internal departments related to insurance/surety
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g. FP&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax, International Sites, IT, Business Proposals, Account Development Managers, etc.)
- Review contracts, leases, agreements to ensure compliance with insurance requirements and negotiate as needed
- Issue certificates of insurance as needed for compliance with various agreements/contracts, etc.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Department on requests for Auto ID cards
- Manage the collection of values with internal customers at existing and/or new locations and review for accuracy determination, reconciliation. Once approved report to external partners
- Filing of all supportive documents such as policies, indemnity agreements, certificates of insurance, etc.
- Review and processing of all department invoices and billing
- Assistance in the collection of data for insurance renewal
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related area required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing large multi-national insurance programs. Experience can include Corporate Risk Management, Commercial Insurance Broker, Multiline Insurance Underwriter, etc.
- Experience managing a large surety program
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multi-task as necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with senior management and individuals with varying degrees of insurance/surety knowledge
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Power Point and Access
- Motivated self-starter with a logical, practical, and creative mindset
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Strong team player; willingness to listen and act on feedback
- Attention, to detail and strong organizational skills, are a must
- Insurance Brokers License a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $76,179 - $180,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
