Job Description

Goodgame Studios seeks a LiveOps Game Designer for Goodgame Empire and Empire: Four Kingdoms. Responsibilities include designing new and improving existing game features to enhance key game metrics, aligning with the game vision, player feedback, data analysis, and business goals. This role requires creating presentations, wireframes, and documentation, utilizing AI tools, and adapting successful mechanics from various genres. The ideal candidate possesses experience in game/systems design or product management in free-to-play games, a strong understanding of LiveOps dynamics (monetization, in-game economies, player behavior), and excellent communication skills. The role involves collaboration with a 30+ team, working on established MMO games with a vast player base.

Must have:

Experience in F2P game design/product management
Understanding of LiveOps and monetization
Data analysis & player behavior knowledge
Strong communication & presentation skills
Ability to design and document game features

Good to have:

Experience with AI tools
Knowledge of various game genres

Your Mission

Design new and rework existing game features targeted to improve key game metrics
Propose improvements and measures aligned with the game vision, player feedback, data analysis and business goals
Create pitch presentations, wireframes and documentation to clearly communicate your designs to the team
Utilize AI tools in your daily work to leverage your own output
Transfer and adapt successful game mechanics from various genres

Your Backstory

Experience in Game/Systems Design or Product Management in free-to-play games
Good understanding of LiveOps game dynamics, including monetisation strategies, in-game economies and player behavior
Aspiration to take ownership and striving to get things done with a cost/benefit mindset
Strong written and spoken English
