Duties and Responsibilities


  • Design and implement engaging, innovative, and balanced puzzle game levels that align with the overall game design and narrative.
  • Collaborate with artists, programmers, and other designers to ensure that the levels fit within the game's artistic vision and technical constraints.
  • Utilize level design tools to create and iterate on level layouts.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to measure and refine your levels for maximum performance.
  • Conduct playtests and gather feedback to refine and optimize levels for the best player experience.
  • Stay updated with current trends in level design and gaming to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the team.
  • Work closely with the QA team to identify and fix bugs in level designs.
  • Document and communicate level design processes and guidelines to ensure consistency across the game.


Requirements


  • 2+ years of experience in level design, preferably in mobile puzzle games.
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, particularly in level design and player engagement.
  • Proficiency Unity or scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous level design work, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively in designing engaging game levels.
